•  Payment details (Direct Debit, credit/debit card number) for A.B.C. HomeSure customers only
•  Details of any additional authorised parties who can manage your requirements on your behalf.

Keeping and storing your data

If you’re a current or past customer, we’ll keep a copy of your personal details. Personal data such as customers name, email address and contact number are simply used to contact customers if/when necessary. The billing address that is required from customers making payments is used for the creation of the invoice(s). The billing address may also be used by us to contact you to arrange or discuss work to be done, for example if you are a landlord. Holding on to data allows us to keep accurate records for tax purposes and to handle any future enquires or requests for us to provide our services to you.

Once we receive personal data from customers we will store this data on our customer management system. Access to this system is password protected and secure.

Providing Your Data to Others

We will never sell any of your data. All personal data that we store is not transferred outside the company and is not given to any third party organisations. The only reason that we would make an exception to this would be where it is absolutely necessary to provide a service or product for you or if the law requires us to provide said information.

•  We may pass your address, property and postcode, and details of your gas appliances, flue, hot-water cylinder, system controls, and electrical installations (including details of any repairs or removals), to competent person scheme operators and other appropriate organisations, including Gas Safe (the official gas safety body), the ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) and your mains water supplier ie: Severn Trent Water. These operators and organisations may pass this information to local authorities to meet Building Regulations. They may also use this information to contact you to inspect appliances or systems, recall faulty products, carry out audits, and for health and safety purposes.
